VACHE BAROQUE FESTIVAL
Sri-Lanka
Following a collaboration in 2020, we will be bringing our unique form of avant-garde movement to the highlight of this season – Charpentier’s La descente d'Orphée aux enfers.
INTERNATIONAL WORK – BRITISH COUNCIL
Sri-Lanka
We are proud to have worked closely with the British Council in Sri Lanka on Dance for Reconciliation. Our Flock connected disabled and non-disabled dancers together with eight dance groups from Sri Lanka, including Natanda, in a residential workshop. This culminated in an international dance festival with all dance groups invited to attend and perform alongside international artists.
China
Our film Flying Home which explores isolation in lockdown – a kinetic reflection of a world transformed during the global pandemic, was shown as part of #ConnectedByCreativity, the UK-China Contemporary Culture Festival, 1 - 21 Oct 2020.
Japan
We are proud to announce that Flying Home will be shown in Japan as part of #CultureConnectsUs. The British Council’s online festival celebrates the rich cultural friendship between the UK and Japan and runs until 31 March
2022.
